Description
The Russell Comparator offers a convenient way of comparing fingerprints, providing brightly lit images at enhanced magnification side by side for examination. Scene-of-crime and record fingerprints are placed on the top of the instrument and held in place under weighted holders. The high quality optical projection systems with independent focusing and intensity control produce evenly lit images. The field of view is 35x35mm and the final image size is 164x164mm, allowing ridge features to be easily marked-up on the ground glass screens.
