Description

A 'Quick Check' system for the rapid examination of passports and other security documents, the VSC-QC1 is designed to aid government agencies and private businesses in the fight against identity fraud through the use of forged and altered documents including passports, ID cards, visas and other security documents.

 

As well as verifying e-passport and MRZ data, the system rapidly captures and displays automatically generated images of a document illuminated with:

• White light for general examination
• IR light for revealing drop-out inks
• UV light for exciting fluorescent features
• IR side lighting to highlight intaglio print 
• Coaxial light for revealing retro-reflective features
• Transmitted light for authenticating watermarks
• External LED for visual check

 

Features

The VSC-QC1 is a high speed document examination system for use anywhere that a security document is used as proof of identity - airports, banks, border control points, hotels, licensing authorities, and large employers etc.

By incorporating multi-spectral document examination technology with a simple to use touch screen interface and automatic-triggering when a document is placed upon the examination bed, the VSC-QC1 is perfect for front desk applications.
