Foster & Freeman take to the roads
With over 95% of Foster Freeman's customers
located outside of the UK, product demonstrations have often
been a logistical nightmare, particularly if several products
are involved. Although organised conferences and exhibitions
provide valuable opportunities for the company to bring products
and interested parties together, they are not always convenient
in time or place for everyone.
To overcome the problem the company has invested
in a 7.5 ton Iveco Ford truck which has been fitted out as
a mobile exhibition booth, providing potential customers with
an opportunity to see and use a wide range of the company's
products together at their own premises.
The first outing for the new vehicle, which
boasts a new fully carpeted interior, internal dimensions
of 5m by 2.5m, full standing headroom, air conditioning, lighting
and seating for six, will be into Germany in August 2001.
Plans are also being laid to tour the USA in 2002 with the
MVC5000, a fingerprint fuming cabinet that weighs 200 kg and
stands at over 2 metres, developed by Foster & Freeman's
subsidiary company, Mason Vactron Ltd.
