New Crime-lite® casts light on shoe prints

Mason Vactron have designed a low level linear light source for illuminating shoe prints at the scene of a crime.

Designated the ‘Crime-lite® 80L’, the forensic light source is fitted with 16 high intensity LEDs and a cylindrical lens and emits white light at a low, grazing, angle to the surface it is placed on to assist the examination and photography of shoe prints in dust.

The new Crime-lite® 80L is AC mains powered but can be used for short periods on a rechargeable battery pack.
