A compact multifunctional workstation for examining security and breeder documents

The VSC4^PLUS is a colour and infrared video imaging system designed for the verification of passports, visas, ID cards, currency and for the general examination of suspect or questioned documents. In its standard format the VSC4^PLUS is simple to operate without a PC, using push button fascia controls. More advanced features can be accessed by connecting the VSC4^PLUS to a computer, laptop or smart terminal and installing the Document Imaging Software Suite.

The VSC4^PLUS provides comprehensive facilities for examining:

• UV activated luminescent features under short, medium and longwave UV
• Tampering and photo-substitution under high magnification
• anti-Stokes security features using intense IR lighting
• Retro-reflective features with coaxial lighting
• Embossed stamps under oblique lighting
• Holograms using multi-angled lighting
• Watermarks using transmitted lighting
• Suspected alterations using differential infrared absorption and luminescence properties of inks
• Invisibly embedded personal information
• ICAO coded data in machine readable zones

The powerful imaging system provides image integration and magnification of up to x92.
