A high resolution, multi-functional workstation for examining questioned documents

The VSC 5000 is a comprehensive digital imaging system providing the forensic document examiner with an extensive range of facilities for detecting irregularities on altered and counterfeit documents.

The VSC 5000 is equipped with a high-resolution firewire colour video imaging system and is operated with a PC through Windows 2000. Instrument functions are selected and controlled through a comprehensive graphical user interface.

Techniques include examinations in the visible and near infrared regions of the spectrum carried out with incident and transmitted UV, visible and infrared illumination up to 1000nm. The instrument is supplied with a comprehensive operating system which includes casework management and image archiving facilities.
